George Keith is my 11th great-grandfather, and my shared common ancestor with George Wythe (Signer of the Declaration of Independence), singer Janis Joplin, and actor Pernell Elven Roberts.

George was born in 1614. At age 24, he welcomed his son George Keith (b. 1638 – d. 1716). He also had a daughter, Ann Keith (b. March 9, 1703) in Kirketan, Virginia, American Colonies.
