Lott Cook (b. 1902 – d. 1984)

Lott Cook, my 2nd great-grandfather, was born about 1902 in West Virginia.

Lott is 18 years old on the 1920 Census, single, and living with his mother at Freemans Creek, Lewis Co, West Virginia. His occupation is described as “Laborer”:

The 1930 Census shows Lott as married, living in Buckhannon, Upshur Co, WV, and working at “Veneering Mill” as a Laborer:

On the 1940 Census, Lott’s occupation is listed as “Fireman Coal” and his highest level of education as “Elementary School, 1st grade”:

His World War II Draft Registration Card describes Lott as having a “ruddy complexion, blue eyes, and brown hair.” He was 5’8″ and 145 lbs.

On July 26, 1964, Lott’s wife (Sarah Leota Johnson, b. 1901) died.

Lott died in Oct 1984.
