William Buck is my 12th great-grandfather. He was born in Padbury, Buckinghamshire, England in 1585 and was a plough-wright by trade. At age 26 he welcomed daughter Margaret Ann Buck (b. Dec 5, 1611 in Wrentham, Suffolk, England – d. 1664). At age 32, in 1617, he had son Roger Buck. Then when William was 38, in 1623, son Emanual “Enoch” Buck (d. 1707) was welcomed to the family.

William migrated to America in 1639 on the Increase.

Further documentation shows that his son Roger accompanied him on the overseas voyage.

William died January 24, 1658 in Cambridge, Middlesex, Massachusetts at the age of 73. He is interred at the Old Burying Ground.
